We love our volunteers and couldn’t do what we do without you. There are so many ways to get involved, whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little. Your unique skills and enthusiasm are always welcome. We’ll be in touch with opportunities that match your interests.

How to Volunteer at TIMA

We’re so excited that you’re interested in volunteering with us! Volunteers are the heart of our school community, and your time and support make a huge difference. To ensure a safe and organized environment for all our students, please follow these four steps to get started:

Step 1: Volunteer Approval

All volunteers must be approved through SCCPSS. Please click here to access their volunteer site.

Step 2: Complete Praesidium Training

As part of our ongoing mission to create a safe environment for our TIMA students, all parents are required to complete training with our insurance partner, Praesidium Academy.
Please complete the course: “Keeping Your School Safe” You should have received an email inviting you to the training.  Can’t find the email?  Email Jennifer Fleming at Jennifer.Fleming@sccpss.com.

Step 3: Fill Out the Interest Form

We’d love to know how you’d like to get involved!

Take a look at our Volunteer Groups and complete our Volunteer Involvement Form to let us know your areas of interest and availability. Filling out this form will also add you to our email lists, so you’ll receive notifications about upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Step 4: Field Trip Chaperones

Planning to join us on a field trip?
All field trip chaperones are required to review and sign the “Chaperone Agreement” form provided by the teacher for each trip. This ensures everyone is clear about expectations and safety protocols before the adventure begins!
