2024-2025 Open Admission Application

Open Admission for the 24-25 school year will begin on Jan. 3, 2024 at 12:00pm and will close prior the Lottery on Feb. 9, 2024 at 3pm.
Lottery will run on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024.
The TIMA Lottery is run through Lotterease.

Enrollment

Finalized acceptance and registration into TIMA is contingent upon verification of information submitted. Parents/guardians must provide all registration materials during the allotted window or risk losing their child’s space in the school.

Attendance Zone

The primary zone is the entire geographic area of Tybee Island, which includes Spanish Hammock, Disabled American Veterans Island and other islands and inlets located east of the Lazaretto Creek Bridge.

The secondary attendance zone is all of Chatham County.

Weighted Lottery

TIMA utilizes the available weighted lottery option during our admission process in order to give qualifying economically disadvantaged students double the chance of being selected for an available seat. Qualifying students must meet one of the following: lives below the poverty line, qualifies for free or reduced lunch, or whose family qualifies for federal benefits including SNAP, TANF, WIC, or Medicare.
